| If clients want to
ensure that their assets are left to the person or people of their
choosing, it is imperative that they make a Will. If there is no
Will, application has to be made to the Court for the appointment
of an Executor and this leads to delay and expenses.
Did you know that if you do not leave a Will and
your house is valued at over £300,000 your spouse will not
be entitled to the property? The Scottish Law Commission may be
reviewing the law on intestate succession but for peace of mind
putting a Will in place now will ensure your assets pass to the
people to whom you wish. A Will can also minimise or even eliminate
inheritance tax (currently charged at 40% on estates over £325,000).
We offer wills designed to: -
| |
|
Minimise inheritance
tax |

|
Preserve assets for future generations |

reach maturity |
| |
|

mental capacity |

should something happen to both of you |
